Anton F.P. van Putten studied Electrical engineering at the School of Polytechnics Amsterdam, followed at Delft University
of Technology. He received his Ph.D. from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 1988, with great distinction. He was
professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, visiting professor in London, Middlesex University, Université de
Bordeaux I and at the Universidade de Fisica, Coimbra, Portugal. He was co-ordinator of several European research
projects. He is a specialist in solid-state sensors and invented world’s first silicon flow sensor in 1974. He wrote the
book “Electronic Measurements; Theory and Practice” (IOP 1996) With his three sons, he co-invented world’s first
certified fully electronic gas monitoring system for domestic and small business usage, the Van Putten Gas-Energy
Observatory (VPGEO). www.VPGEO.com. Over the past years he studied Law of the Dutch Court system and published
articles about several principle law topics, notably The Stevens-Schipper- Methode on court documents with proven
falsification (NJB publication, 2005). In 2005 he founded the “Stichting Hollandpromote.com” to investigate theoretical
and practical issues of Dutch law. He is married with Maria Eva Veeken; together they have three sons and one daughter.
